The process for buying Afrostar Token can seem a bit daunting for beginners and even seasoned crypto investors. There are quite a few steps that are involved in buying Afrostar that I will try to cover her. Be patient, some of the steps take a day or two to be completed and will probably take the better part of 5 business days to ultimately purchase your Afrostar token.
How to create your wallet with Trust Wallet
Step 1. To get the latest Trust Wallet App you should follow one of the download links on trust wallet website Once you have downloaded and installed the app, open Trust Wallet and tap on “Create a new wallet”.
IMPORTANT: There is no way to change or recover your 12 word phrase if it’s lost or forgotten. If you lose your recovery phrase you will lose your funds with it. Trust Wallet is completely different from traditional bank accounts. You are the true owner of your “Money”, Trust Wallet can never access your coins. It is technically not possible for anyone but you to recover your wallet since you should be the only person with access to your recovery phrase (only your 12 word recovery phrase can be used to restore access to your wallet). NEVER GIVE YOUR RECOVERY PHRASE TO ANYONE NO MATTER WHAT…THIS IS YOUR PASSWORD TO YOUR WALLET. COPY YOUR PHRASE DOWN AND PUT IT IN YOUR SAFE. DON’T KEEP IT ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE. Before you finish the step of creating the wallet, verify that you wrote down the 12 word phrase in the correct order. The order is critical!
You will need to manually add Afrostar Token into your Trust Wallet. Go to your Trust Wallet and tap the two small lines with the circles in the upper right hand corner. Scroll to the bottom and click on “Add Custom Token”. For the “Network” select “Smart Chain”. Paste in the Contract Address from Afrostar.io website. Type “Afrostar” as “Name”. “Afro” is the symbol, use “9” for decimals. Then click “save”.
Create a Crypto.com account
Step 1 Visit crypto.com exchange website and follow the onscreen instructions to create the account. It’s pretty straight forward. Once the account is set up and verified you need to link a bank account that you have a debit card for. Plan accordingly.
Purchase BNB on your crypto.com account

Transfer BNB from crypto.com to Trust Wallet
- Visit crypto.com/exchange and select the Log In button (upper right-hand corner).
- After you have logged in to your account, click Balance (upper right-hand corner).
- Find your cryptocurrency to withdraw and select Withdraw.
- Select withdraw to an external wallet address
- Add a withdrawal address by selecting Add Withdrawal Address.
- Adding a new wallet address will need the following:
a. Go to trustwallet and retrieve the address for BNB. Click on “receive” button in your wallet and search “BNB”, then click on BNBand it will bring up a QR code. Click “copy” and make a mental note of the first few letters and/or numbers to double check when paste into crypto.com. Addresses are coin specific so make sure you are getting the address for BNB from your Trust Wallet. Once again, ensure the currency selected is the right currency you are withdrawing to.
You will only see relevant addresses when you decide to withdraw BNB (i.e. if you add a BTC wallet address and are withdrawing BNB, you will not see the BTC address crypto.com)
b. Add a Label for the address
c. Input your Google verification code
d. Select Save Address
7. Select the withdrawal address in the drop-down list and review the amount you want to withdraw.
8. Select Review Withdrawal once you are ready.
9. Review Withdraw details. The amount you receive will be the amount after the withdrawal fee has been deducted, where applicable.
10. Select Confirm Withdrawal. Withdrawals to external wallets can take up to 2 hours to process.
You can withdraw a small amount to test to make sure you have the correct address if you are unsure.
Swap BNB to BSC in Trust Wallet
Once the BNB is in your Trust Wallet now you need to swap BNB for BSC will be used on Pancake Swap to swap for Afrostar Token (Afro). Go to your Trust Wallet and click on “BNB”, then click on “Swap”, and at the bottom of the screen click on “Swap to Smart Chain”. Then next screen click on “swap”. You should see a gold BNB symbol on top and a black BNB symbol on bottom, select the amount you want to swap and click on “swap”.
Swap BSC to Afro in Pancake Swap
Go to PANCAKESWAP.FINANCE on your iPhone web browser. Click the ‘Connect Wallet’ button (top right of the page) Select Trust Wallet, then the ‘Trust’ icon on the next screen. This opens the TrustWallet app. Select ‘Connect’ inTrust Wallet app. Go back to pancakeswap in your browser and On Pancake Swap select ‘Exchange’ from the left side menu Select ‘From’ BNB & ‘To’ enter the Afrostar BSC Contract Address. This is very IMPORTANT. Go to afrostar.io and get the BSC contract address and enter into “TO”. Do not get the address from anywhere else, there ARE scammers that will attempt to provide a fake address that they will use to steal your money!. I REPEAT ONLY USE THE CONTRACT ADDRESS FROM THE OFFICIAL AFROSTAR.IO WEBSITE.
We are ready to swap from BSC to Afrostar. Click “Max” if you want to swap the total amount of your BSC to Afro. Confirm the “from” is BSC and select AFRO as the “To”. Now click on the settings wheel and set slippage tolerance to the recommended 13%. Close the setting screen and click “Confirm Swap”. Go back to your Trust Wallet and refresh by swiping down, you should see Afrostar in your wallet now. There is a 10% purchase tax that is charged and used by Afrostar, 2% to a buy back fund, 6% to marketing fund and 2% for holder rewards. You can read more about this at afrostar.io under “Tokenomics”
The last thing you should do is is go into Trust Wallet settings and find “Walletconnect”. Disconnect all active connections so that no exchange is connect and can access your wallet. This is a critical security step.
NEVER LEAVE YOUR TRUST WALLET CONNECTED TO PANCAKESWAP OR ANY OTHER EXCHANGE.
